The Center is funded through a\u00a0grant\u00a0from the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) of the U.S. Department of Education.<\/p>\n<p>The goals of C-SAIL are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compare and contrast college and career readiness standards\u00a0implementation<em>\u00a0<\/em>in English language arts (ELA) and math across different states.<\/li>\n<li>Capture the\u00a0differences in approaches<em>\u00a0<\/em>to implementation<em>\u00a0<\/em>between states, districts, schools, and classrooms, and between students within a classroom, and determine their effects.<\/li>\n<li>Measure college and career readiness standards\u2019 impact on student achievement, through NAEP scores, high school graduation rates, and college enrollment and employment rates.<\/li>\n<li>Create and make available\u00a0new tools for teachers<em>\u00a0<\/em>to monitor in real-time how well-aligned the content of their enacted curriculum is to their states\u2019 college and career readiness standards in ELA and math.<\/li>\n<li>Test the\u00a0Feedback on Alignment and Support for Teachers (FAST) Program<em>\u00a0<\/em>to support teachers through feedback and coaching.<\/li>\n<li>Engage policymakers, education practitioners, and researchers in national discussions of the Center\u2019s work and its findings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Eight reports have been published in 2017.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How is policy affecting classroom instruction?<\/li>\n<li>Standards Implementation in Kentucky: Local Perspective on Policy, Challenges, Resources, and Instruction<\/li>\n<li>Standards Implementation in Texas: Local Perspective on Policy, Challenges, Resources, and Instruction<\/li>\n<li>Standards Implementation In Ohio: Local Perspectives on Policy, Challenges, Resources, and Instruction<\/li>\n<li>Year 1 State Report: Texas<\/li>\n<li>Year 1 State Report: Ohio<\/li>\n<li>Year 1 State Report: Massachusetts<\/li>\n<li>Year 1 State Report: Kentucky<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Citation<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Edgerton, A.
