{"id":635,"date":"2017-04-17T17:48:25","date_gmt":"2017-04-17T17:48:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.winginstitute.org\/news\/?p=635"},"modified":"2017-04-27T10:59:30","modified_gmt":"2017-04-27T17:59:30","slug":"wing-institute-2017-student-research-stipend-rfp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.winginstitute.org\/news\/wing-institute-2017-student-research-stipend-rfp\/","title":{"rendered":"Wing Institute 2017 Student Research Stipend RFP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Wing Institute invites graduate students interested in conducting research in the area of evidence-based education to apply for the 2017 student stipends, which are\u00a0designed to support the student\u2019s research.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the Wing Institute Graduate Research Funding Program is to<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sponsor and promote new research in areas of evidence-based education, including efficacy research, effectiveness research, implementation, and monitoring.<\/li>\n<li>Sponsor and promote new research across disciplines, types of research, and venues.<\/li>\n<li>Encourage graduate students to focus their future professional work in this subject area, increasing the number of professionals dedicated to the field of evidence-based education.<\/li>\n<li>Disseminate research findings for application in real-world settings, further bridging the gap between research and practice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>FUNDING<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The stipend is a one-time $5,000 award.
