Annual Summits on Evidence-based Special Education
The Wing Institute sponsored summits are designed to facilitate
communication, collaboration, and cooperation among education
stakeholders who have experience with, and interest in, evidence-based
special education. The Summits are designed to: share information and
perspectives across a wide range of professional disciplines, education
and social services, public and private organizations, regions and
consumers offer new information from leaders in the field on relevant
topics be working meetings in which participants are asked to complete
pre-summit surveys and homework, participate in work groups, and report
out results provide an opportunity for feedback and input regarding
future activities in promoting evidence-based special education An
annual report is produced each year with the proceedings from the
Summit.
